Volunteer Portal FAQ's

 Q: How do I register as a volunteer? All individuals must register on our volunteer portal before serving. Visit volunteers.raleighdreamcenter.org/registration to create your account. You'll need a valid email address to sign up.

Q: How do I create a team? Any registered volunteer can create a team by logging in and navigating to My Account > My Teams. From there, you can set up your team and sign your group up for events or shifts.

Q: I'm signing up as an individual. Do I need to register? Yes. All individuals signing up to serve must create their own account on the portal before signing up for an event or shift.

Q: I'm bringing a group of fewer than 5 people (church, business, school, or small group). Does everyone need to register? No — only the team leader needs to register. Once registered, the leader can create a team under My Account > My Teams and sign the group up for an event or shift. Individual team members do not need to create their own portal accounts, though they are welcome to do so if they'd like to sign up to serve individually at other events.

Q: My group is 5 or more people. How do we sign up? Please reach out to us at serve@raleighdreamcenter.org before registering so we can best accommodate your group.

Q: This is our group's first time serving with RDC. Is there anything we need to do before registering?  Yes — please email us at serve@raleighdreamcenter.org before registering so we can connect with you and know when your group is coming.

Q: How does a group leader sign up a team for an event or shift? Once your team is created under My Account > My Teams, the group leader can sign the team up for available events or shifts directly through the portal. Leaders are responsible for selecting the appropriate event, choosing a shift, and confirming attendance for their group.

Q: How do I find available events or shifts to sign up for? After logging in, browse the list of upcoming events and available shifts. You can also use the Calendar view for a clearer look at what's coming up. Sign up for the opportunity that fits your schedule and interests.

Q: Can I sign up for multiple shifts or events? Yes! You are welcome to sign up for as many events or shifts as you'd like through the portal.

Q: What do I do when I arrive to serve? Each shift takes place at different locations across the Triangle area — be sure to check your event details in the portal for the specific address. Once you arrive, a team of volunteer leaders will be available to welcome and direct you. Scan the QR code on-site to check in.

Q: I want to serve on the Cooking, Worship, or KidzJam team. How do I sign up? These teams require prior approval before signing up. Please reach out to us at serve@raleighdreamcenter.org to express your interest and receive approval before registering for these teams in the portal.

Q: I can't find my church during registration. What should I do? Select Other during registration and then email serve@raleighdreamcenter.org with your church name and we will work on getting it added to the list.
